General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "GTC") are operated by Sunglass Magic Webshop, Eyewear Magic Kft. (registered office: 1064 Budapest, Podmaniczky utca 57. 2. em. 14. ajtó, tax number: 32596087-2-42) through the website https://sunglassmagic.hu. When making a purchase on the website, you, as the Buyer, accept the terms and conditions set out in these GTC.

2. The purchasing process

Purchases are made in the webshop according to the following steps:

  1. The customer selects the product and places it in the shopping cart.
  2. The customer provides the necessary information for the order.
  3. The system automatically confirms the order.
  4. After payment, the order is processed.
  5. The product is delivered by courier service to the specified address.

3. Payment methods

The following payment methods are available during the purchase process:

  • Payment by credit card
  • Advance bank transfer
  • Cash on delivery (cash or credit card to the courier)
  • Cash-on-delivery handling fee in the event of withdrawal:
The Service Provider provides standard home delivery to the Customer free of charge. During the ordering process, the Customer may choose from several payment methods.

Where the Customer selects cash on delivery, a separate handling fee applies to the use of this payment method. This fee constitutes an additional cost associated with the payment method separately selected by the Customer, does not form part of the purchase price of the product and is not considered a standard delivery charge.

By selecting cash on delivery, the Customer acknowledges that the cash-on-delivery handling fee is a separate charge associated with the selected payment method and is payable by the Customer.

In the event of withdrawal, the Service Provider shall refund the purchase price of the returned product to the Customer in accordance with the applicable legislation. As the Service Provider provides standard home delivery free of charge, no standard delivery charge arises that would be subject to reimbursement.

However, the cash-on-delivery handling fee constitutes an additional cost associated with the payment method selected by the Customer and will therefore not be refunded in the event of withdrawal.

This provision does not affect the Customer’s statutory right of withdrawal or the Customer’s rights concerning the refund of the purchase price of the product.

4. Terms of delivery

Delivery is available within Hungary and the EU.

  • Shipping fees: Free for orders over 20,000 HUF, 1,900 HUF for orders below that amount.
  • Shipping time: Usually 3-5 business days.

5. Right of withdrawal

Pursuant to Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.), buyers are entitled to withdraw from the purchase without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the product. 6. Returns and complaints

The cost of return shipping shall be borne by the customer, unless the product is defective or damaged.
Complaints may be submitted by email or telephone.


6.1. Condition of the returned product and its accessories

Please note that, in the event of withdrawal, the product must be returned together with all original accessories, including in particular the original case, cleaning cloth, box, certificate, branded accessories and any other original accessories supplied with the product.

The customer may only test the product to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. If the product or its original accessories are returned damaged, incomplete, with signs of use, or with depreciation resulting from use exceeding the necessary testing, our company is entitled, in accordance with applicable law, to deduct the amount of such depreciation from the purchase price to be refunded.

This deduction does not constitute a penalty or withdrawal fee, but is determined solely on the basis of the actual depreciation of the product and/or its accessories, as well as the replacement value of any missing or damaged accessories. The amount of the deduction is determined individually in each case, following inspection of the condition of the returned product and its accessories.

7. Warranty and guarantee

The warranty and guarantee conditions specified in the law apply.
In the case of optical products, individual accessories may have different warranty periods.

8. Data protection

We handle customers' personal data in accordance with GDPR regulations. Details are provided in the Data Management Policy.

9. Handling legal disputes

In the event of any legal dispute, the parties shall attempt to settle the matter amicably. If this is not possible,
the Hungarian courts shall have jurisdiction.
